Mahindra group is launching a social platform for entrepreneurs to fund their business ideas. It is launching a new website, www.sparktherise.com, on August 17. On the website, it displays ideas from 5 categories – agriculture and rural development, energy, technology, infrastructure & social entrepreneurship. Contest winners will picked basing on public voting.
Mahindra will grant 4 lakh each to top ideas to run the business for 6 months. Among these, 5 will be short listed by public voting while other 3 will be picked by a panel of judges.
Top 2 ideas of the month will be eligible for additional funding. Most popular idea/spark will receive 40 lakh and 3 runners-up ideas will receive 20 lakh each in additional funding.
Mahindra will spend Rs. 120 crore on Rise campaign over 3 years. Mahindra group has interests in wide areas from agriculture to airspace.

India is a country where you can get to see many different varieties in everything from climate to languages to costumes. All this is contributing to the success of many new ideas as you have a vast target audience. The product that has been very succesful in the recent years is mobile communication & has a deep penetration even the remote areas of our country . But sadly most of the companies which sold their handsets were of foreign origin. The money that could have stayed here is now in the hands of foreign companies which are having a last laugh..The idea that I would suggest here is that would have made a company like Casio the world’s largest manufacturer of digital watches to the world’s largest Phone cum watch company.
A product like an Ipad has earned billions for its company & its country. They have taken the simple idea of a slate to the level of on Ipad. The product I would like to mention here is a Mobile Phone in a watch . There have been instances where companies are offering this facility to a privileged few , I think if it is made cost effective , it would bring in loads of foreign currency back to the Indian shores.
A product like this has the following advantages ;
1) It keeps the user at a distance from harmful radiation emerging out of the mobile system.
2) It cannot be lost or stolen as it is tied to the hand.
3) Since it would be small it would not be difficult to carry.
4) It would easier to use while driving as it is tied to the hand & the driver does not have to leave his hand from the steering while talking on the phone.
5) Once the product is succesful , the product can be developed further to inculcate various other hand held devices like the remote control of a television or a dvd player.

I am a young social energetic new entrepreneur from very backward places of world North East of India from ( Assam ) I have a handloom and handicraft (mainly cane & bamboo) products making SSI unit in Assam .My sole aim is to develop myself as an established social entrepreneur with the help all of you. I am new person in above mentioned sector. But I have vast knowledge about it, because I am working with a N.G.O. last 7 years and we are working with various clusters up gratin above mentioned products through clusters development programs. The above mentioned products are very attractive and monopoly market in locally & abroad also. Genuine skilled workers for handicrafts & wavers for handlooms are available in our region. But both this sector is un organized because lake of communication, education & proper guidance of government. Sir, for your kind information that huge women are involved in both of the above mentioned sectors but 85 percent involved in weaving sector of NE & it is a huge cluster approx. 3 million omen involved in this sector directly & approx.2 million involved in indirectly. In my vast experience of the above mention line I think market will be assured at present all over world. So as a small social entrepreneur I am interested to contribute some development in Handloom & Handicraft sector of NE through deep involvement of me. There fore at first step I am planning to open a SHOW ROOM in abroad preferable (DUBAI) or big city in India (GOA,BANGALURU, AHMEDABAD etc etc) of my crafts. Sir for your kind information that I have already send a letter to chief minister of Gujarat & chambers of commerce Dubai for provide me a govt. commercial low rented room for my show room & they are responding to my proposal & send my proposal to proper agency for the possibility or not .
If I will success in my first step I am planning to set up a mini craft village for above mentioned products with the help of 200 genuine skills workers and weavers initially with fully organize. Gradually I will try to develop this sector through SHG (Self Help group) concept & I will sale all the major crafts of India throw my show room step by step. Sir for your kind information the skilled workers & weavers of North East is very poor & their living condition is very pathetic. Because lack of proper guidance & total control of middleman they earn very nominal profit from their products. I am interested to change the total scenario through fare trade concept. It will benefit both of them the craftsman & weavers benefited socially & economically and I will also be benefited as a social entrepreneur.

Sir for your kind information that ARTFED is a govt organization of Assam .They are marketing locally produced handloom & handicraft above mention products all over India and abroad also. They are collecting the products from handicrafts worker & wavers throw middleman from whole NE & simply marketing the same products through some exhibition and show room but they have no own production unit. Last year they turned over approx. 90 crores. So I have full confidence that if I will setup the project I will be able to turn over at least 2-3crores initially. That’s why they have no production unit so their products is not a quality & uniform products ,but market is monopoly . So if I can start my mini craft village market will be assured because I will monitor all my production in every stage .My dream will be live if some organization supply oxygen (Funding) for my dream project.
Sir for your kind information that corruption is spreading in all over NE just like virus. For example recently CBI raided the residence of the recently retired MD of ARTFED. Because he opened some firms in the name of his wife & some relatives & he collected the above mention products from some small handicrafts workers & wavers at very low price & sold through the farms same products to ARATFED at very high price . That is why he was personally benefited but ARTFED lost huge amount.
If my proposal touches your heart it will be benefited at list some poor people of under developing region and I have full confidence l will touch the sky step by step through you organization. Dear Sir/Madam,
If blood circulation in our body does not flow uninterruptedly and smoothly, then the system of growth of our body will be collapsed. Human body cannot function well without proper blood circulation, because blood carries the oxygen to every organ of our body through the hemoglobin. If the hemoglobin decreases or destroys, then due to the lack of oxygen supply, our whole body will be ceased to exist. So, we have to take care of it and protect it. At the same way, socio-economical development and growth of a country largely depend on its transportation system. It is like the blood flow and without proper smooth and convenient transportation, a country cannot grow up or keep its integrity intact. So inevitably, the infrastructure of the whole system should be duly constructed, and the third world countries like India, China, and other South Asian and African countries always emphasize on the infrastructure, but they often overlook unintentionally and sometimes deliberately the importance of hemoglobin of the blood, here the people who are involved in the transportation system such as truck drivers, khalasies, porters, mechanics, and the persons who are maintaining the law and order in this system, the RTO guys. We do not bother about those people’s social securities, problems, grievances, comfort, education, diseases, and their psychologies. If a virus or disease contaminates our blood, then the disease is being carried to each part of the body through blood. The truckers transport important industrial raw materials and necessary valuable commodities and food and at the same time, they also carry fatal infectious diseases like HIV and many STDs from a part of our country to another part of the nation. They have to stay aloof from their families and friends for days and nights by profession spending most of their lives in a 7 feet x 6 feet unhealthy and unscientific truck cabin made by a local truck and bus builder without proper ventilations and safety features and very hot burning 4000-8000 cc 6 cylinder diesel engine inside the cabin, which lost its proper company insulation after the free servicings are completed. These trucks always carry overload of almost 2-6 tons of goods and it raises the life risks and stress of the truckers. They have to bear a huge responsibility of goods worth of crores. They sometimes get mugged or car broken down. It is very painful and physically challenging to change a flat tire of overloaded truck. When they come to a cross road dhaba or a truck terminus after such a grueling journey and find those cheap illiterate poor prostitutes and desi alcoholic beverages, they cannot resist them to have fun and entertainment. It is like heaven to them and this is the only way to relax from their physical and mental stress. They cannot get proper food, sleep (hardly 4-5 hours of sleep in a day), and most of all appropriate monetary return that they deserve. To them, life means a miserable and very painful tough life stream with a very least price. To them, their lives are like a never ending nightmare. So, there is not a big difference between life and death and that is why they do not hesitate to take risks of their or other’s lives to save time, fuel, and the vehicles which are feeding them.
First of all, we have to emphasize on their proper education and their social securities. Our government should establish institutions with the help of NGOs and the commercial vehicle manufactures where they will be taught and guided not only the traffic rules and regulations, but also how to keep their body and mind healthy and disease free. Truck and bus manufactures should make them familiar about the big vehicles they are driving, their advanced technical and safety features, and how to get the best performance out the vehicles. We have to think about building Body and Mind Consortium in each part of the country to provide them more psycho-physiological nourishment to make them free from their huge professional stress and frustration, and which will educate them about the life-threatening male habits and addictive substances. Like the car insurance, truckers’ life insurance should be made mandatory and our government should bear the liability partly and partly by the transport agencies.

As in the case of a Human Body, which is self sustainable, the Residential and Commercial Complexes should also be Self Sustainable.
An Individual, prefers to have the Cooking, Resting and Excreting Process, to be available inside his/her House.
Whatever Complexes are Built should have a Mandatory Process of Creating Enery, Storing it, and Utilising it for the Complex it has been Built.
These Complexes should have Greenery, so that the Air Withen the Complex is Better than what is available outside.
There should be a BioGas Plant, Water Treatment Plant and the Treated Vegetable Waste, Excreata Waste is Utilised to Water the Plants and used a Bio fertilizer.
Energy can be generated through Solar Panels which can light the common area of the Complex, Bio Gas to be used for Cooking.
All this does not Imply, that the Outside facilities would not be used, but, the dependence on the Outside facilities should be over the facilities that are Built within the complex
There are people who have spent their life times and have excellent ideas which can work positively. Let any of your senior executive of the director level come in touch with can tell few of them if you are really looking for serious ideas. Serious ideas are not meant for public display. The undersigned is university medal holder in engineering of year 1966 and has a vast experience in handling very delicate manufacturing processes done under microscopes.
